The First Harvest

Lughnasadh is coming up fast. August 1 will be the mark of Lammas Eve, and I hope to have a better more official celebration of it than I did for Litha. I can't really say much at the moment, for I am very busy with phone calls and congradulations of my new born niece as well as making it to my Sweet 16. With nothing else to say, I have to go.

Litha

So as promised, I wanted to tell about my Litha experiences. I danced, I sang, and I felt the magick in the air. It was truly an outstanding experience. The evening of Litha, we had a campfire with the entire camp, and as I sat there, I felt this presence. There seemed to be a balance that filled me to the brim with energy. (That's saying a lot, seeing how I'm an insomniac.) The energy seemed to be filling the very air around me. It was then that I realized all the elements were present. The camp was on the side of a river, we were sitting on the ground, the fire was blazing, and the wind was blowing. Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. The omnipresent element of spirit was present as well. It seemed as if I could hear everyone combined voices rising up to drink in the magick energy.

Later on, I decided to ask if any of my friends had felt it. Honestly, I felt drunk with the magick energy. My friends, Wiccan and non, admitted to feeling the energizing ring in the air. It was indeed a bizzare experience, but I wouldn't change a thing about it.

Merry Meet!

So I'm new at blogging and still working on setting the blog up, but I had to put up a post. This blog will be for I and those in my coven. I'm hoping that we can meet others out there on the path less traveled. ^_^ Anyways, with Litha coming up, that means that Summer is officially beginning. I won't be able to talk about my Litha experiences for about a week, seeing how I'm going to be trapped at camp with no access to the outside world... XP However, I and a covenmate will be secretly celebrating Litha on June 21st. I will post our experiences ASAP.
